Data deletion policy

How to request deletion of a PassResearch account, personal data or data received through a Meta or WhatsApp integration.

This document is written to describe the platform’s actual behaviour, but one or more provisions depend on facts that must be confirmed before it is relied on as a binding policy. The specific items to confirm are:

  • Confirm the retention exceptions and deletion workflow against the operator's legal obligations and provider backup schedules.

Request account or data deletion

Use the Privacy & data request category on the contact page at /contact, or email admin@passresearch.com. Include the email address associated with your PassResearch account and state whether you want your account deleted or only specified personal data removed.

WhatsApp and Meta requests

To request deletion of data associated with the PassResearch WhatsApp integration, use the same contact route or email address above. Identify the request as a WhatsApp data-deletion request and include the phone number used with the service.

The Meta App ID for this integration is 1414264414203487.

What is deleted

After a verified request, we remove the requested account content and personal data from the live service. Copies may remain in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten, and we may retain billing, security, fraud-prevention or other records where the law requires it.

Protect your request

We may ask for enough information to verify that you control the account or phone number. Do not send your password, WhatsApp access token, API secret or any other authentication credential.
